Top 10 showdown

For awhile (months) i've been browsing forums, reading threads on all sorts of subjects. There seems to be a recuring theme here: a fasination with the top ranked players. Either it be praise or distaste, i think they are generally looked upon as some of the "best players" or "biggest whores" in the game. IMO these guys are best at scoring ALOT of points in the amount of time they play.

What I thought would be interesting, just to quench my curiosity. Have the top 10 players play on a Karkand 16 person karkand server (9/10 of them have it as their most played map) I'm sure some gaming sponsor would be interested in giving some kind of prizes. Heck the games been out for over a year, the fanfare/community might diminish more once 2142 hits the stands (or EA downloader) so when is there a better time than now? When i was "researching" this the players I looked at were:

Never once have I heard that Japanese are the best gamers.
I always heard the Chinese are the best farmers.

Out of the top 10, if you were looking for the most skillfull player it would only come down to 2 guys. It would be between BushViper and BadBadman69 from Australia. These 2 guys are genuinely very good players.

BushViper was also kickass in Battlefield Vietnam and topped the leaderboard which was more of a skill based system, rather than BF2's most time played system.

Out of the top 10 I'd say BushViper is the best player. He's an all round player.

I've played against BushViper on Warlord, and I never saw him willingly come out of a tank and when he was forced out he always had the G36E or a medic kit. IMO he's not an all round player, he's just geared with the best weapons towards points.

He's trying to get the Expert Armor Badge. Can't get that time up running around as an infantry can you?

eh the top 7 of 10 is made up by karkand armour whores. I'm not saying they aren't good or skilled, but playing the map most known for point whoring over and over and over isn't impressive to me. There are a few balanced (bush,loki,man69) who actually play other maps and seem to be more balanced and in my eyes more skilled than the rest. anyway just my .02

To fix your statement. I play with BushViper all the time. He would NEVER be medic in a tank unless an opportunity sprung up for him to use a tank mid-game and he could not switch kits. Also, I've "willingly" seen him come out of tanks to knife people, etc. Usually him and I ground pound the majority of the time on that map.

As for Volx. He is a nice guy and definately knows how to win a game of Karkand.

BadBadMan69 was in an SF server with us once, I believe he was having an off day due to 250 ping, but he was shock paddled instantly by a certain someone and disconnected a few mins later.

Wow, do you even play this game? Anyone knows you can get WAY more points on foot as a medic if you know what you are doing.

I've played with bushviper and even babyspinach, both great players that knew what they were doing. The only time I've read bushviper post something was on bf2player stating that he was "god"....thus making him look like an ***.

You forgot the group that could just care less about the top 10. However, I'll bite. I think bushviper would be the most well-rounded player of those.

I have never posted anything on bf2player.com, as a matter of fact I am not even registered at that site's forums. It appears someone decided to use my nickname to cause trouble.
