I've noticed something a little strange about BF2 since I installed my new video card, AGP x850Pro (flashed to x850XT with 16 pipes), that seems to have developed in the last couple days. There's a little line of tiny black and white flashing squares slightly off center running vertically down the screen. Sometimes. When I look a certain direction they'll usually go away (direction varies from map to map). If I stand still, they sometimes go away.
I'm not really sure if this is artifacting from having my card OCed (it's the Connect3D version, so it did come with a good sized heat sink on it) or what. I don't get any artifacts in any other game, benchmark, or tests. It also didn't do this the first time I ran BF2 after flashing my card, so it doesn't seem like that'd be the case.
The really strange thing was that after about 2 hours of BF2 yesterday, the squares seemed to grow less and less frequent. They're not really all that bad since they're so tiny (about 2 pixels wide at the most) but they can get distracting sometimes.
Any tips on what to do to get rid of these little things?
PS: You suppose I could go to x850XT PE without any real trouble? The cooler on my card is the exact same thing as what's on the PE, after all.
