Can someone please help me

i bought the game today........i checked the Requiermtns for the game and i had everything needed to play........but for some reason when i start the game my game freezes and my screen keeps turning on and off and so on until i begin playing the game.... can someone please tell me what is going on and what i have to go to fix that??????

ok look here are my specs.........they suck but i think its enouggh to play.....

AMD athlon(tm) xp 2200+,MMX, 3D now~1.8FGhz
512 Ram
Video card:Vision tek XTASY
RADEON 9200 SE AGP (0x9564)
128.0 Mb
display mode:1024x768(32 bit)(60hz)

But start off by following my advice above:

Update your video, motherboard, and sound drivers.

that 9200 isn't going to do much bf2'ing for ya. you can try downloading the latest drivers from www.ati.com

Has nothing to do with his graphics card my 9250 ran BF2 like a beast. and I have a weaker processor then him. It seems no one knows the real answer to this.

Seriously..updating motherboard drivers may help.

I got a friend running BF2 on his 9250 by simply updating his motherboard drivers.

We'd need to know your motherboard make and model to give you a link for a driver download.

i dont believe 9200 is supported by bf2. it wont run bf2 at all. try getting a new gfx card.

and i noticed the most common word in this part of the forums is 'HELP!'
