Words & Spawn Points

Hey everybody,

I just got a new computer, specs are here

-AMD Athlon 64 3800+
-XFX GeForce 7600 GT XXX
-250GB HDD
-2x512 of PC3200 RAM

When I was jacking up my video settings bit by bit, I noticed an odd occurrance.

I think this happened when I moved from everything on high except AA was off, to everything high but AA at 4x. Words were suddenly much smaller onscreen, especially noticable in the console. When I clicked a spawn point, the "selected" symbol seemed much whiter and brighter than it should have been. It also looked much more jagged, which is strange considering AA was supposed to help that. I remember when the spawn point color was a cool gray and the edges were smooth, now they are really weird looking.

Anyone have some suggestions? Screenie is attached.

Check your video.con file found in your profile. Sometimes BF2 does not update correctly even after you Click Apply when changing video settings.

Make sure the Video.con file matches what you selected in the Video Options screen.

the words SIZE are result from RESOLUTION only
and sometimes - the AA might make some fonts look odd
(as in your jpg)

Mybe your desktop-controlpanel-settings messing it up. Turn it off.
