How to mod jet characteristics?

Allright, I want to try something out, mainly if some of my ideas regarding the jet balance can be executed successfully. Id like to try to change some "things" about jets, like for example maximum speed, and so on, to try to play with said changes aswell. How do I do that? Could someone point me to some modding guides and whatnot?

always make backups of any files you modify

have a look at the "tweak" files files (with notepad) in objects_server.zip

look in: vehicles\air\*.*
