Renegade was the best!! lol, it wasnt even rts. I like Zero Hour the most, but ill problably be liking C&C 3 more.

Lol, Renegade was POOR, so was generals. The best C&C games are Red Alert 2, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun and the Original.

Generals was good, but the NetCode sucked ***. You can't play a LAN game with three other people (all people having high-end gaming PCs) against four (or even two) hard AI oppionents without hitting some serious lag.

Red Alert 2 (+ Yuri's Revenge) was the best C&C game (imo, of course) but all of them were good in their own ways.

Red Alert 2: Yuri's revenge is my favorite.

I've played (and own) all of them... C&C, RA, RA: Aftermath, RA2, RA2:YR, Generals, and even the PSone version of RA:Counterstrike.

I don't have Zero Hour or Sole Survivor though...

Anyways, I am a loyal follower of C&C and worshipper of Kane.

C&C 3 comes out 2007!

I remember that one, it was pretty good, so was the N64 verison of regular C&C.

I've been playing Command & Conquer since they were first released, and been enjoying them ever since. Though, Tiberium Sun used to get me mad sometimes cause of the mutants :laugh:.

only good game in the series was command and conqure one because it brought something new to a new genre. at this point c&c is the same game release after release, same goes for the genre, all popular rts games are focused on these disciplines rather than strategy.
-building placement and spacing
-powerup/special weapon usage
-resource collection and optimisation

the game is saturated with these Real Time Managment while all the good games are only played in europe (blitzkrieg, sudden strike, soldiers heroes of ww2 aka faces of war) these games require actually stratiegic usage of units rather than building a massive mixed force, drag selecting them all and sending them. bah to the modern day c@c clone

Unfortunate soles believe C&C3 will be good, I feel sorry for you. Hopefully this will change your mind however its up to you. do you want tiny maps with the exact same small crappy game play the previous C&C games had (C&C & C&C:RA excluded) or do you want a real battle with maps that span miles, battleship's that completely engulf your screen and best of all.. proper nuclear weapons that can obliterate entire armys.

Oh I already plan on getting Supreme Commander and C&C 3, that way I can switch between "small battles" to "huge battles"

see total annihilation aka supreame commander is where i make an acception to my hatred of Real Time Managment games, TA kicked *** because it was so straight forward and well balanced, the tech tree wasnt the major factor and lots of weapons slaughtered.

anyways faces of war will be the greatest rts ever.

LOL there seems to be a flaw in your argument did you not notice that maps ranged in size they werent tiny, you could have rather large ones any bigger and would need teleporters,

if i want sea battles i turn to EE2, but wth would you want to have 1 ship taking up your entire screen that amounts to poor coding where one cant change the camera angles to be able to see the enemy ship coming
