destroyable buildings, more interactive environments, innocent civilians that you have to avoid killing & bots able to use ladders

Movable ships including missile destroyers and the assault carrier if at all possible (it was in desert combat...).

unfortunately ------- desert combat, battlefield 2 = apples, oranges

There are a few mods experimenting with large movable ships. We can only hope the BF2 engine can be stretched to accomodate them!

Desert combat ish buildings like that. Definitely possible.

Desert conflict mod might do a lot of this though.

Yeah, better urban maps. Ones with buildings that you can actually go in, and i mean actually go into them, not just go up some stairs in some room. Close quaters battles in building, that would be fun. With flash bangs and such.

They could call it: Battlefield 2: Urban Conflicts.

I would make that mod, but my modeling and coding skills aren't that great.

Civilians and different character models.

Better urban landscapes that include skyscrapers

More weapons / More vehicles

DICE to give full access to all hardcoded items to the mod community
