what seetings could iget with a soundblaster 24 bit audio card its only about 30 at walmart

i have the same card i run on medium on software..

cuz for some reason on hardware it gets all choppy for me

That's because for the most part the Live 24 bit is garbage. It can't run in hardware mode when the hardware isn't on the card.

And Sniper yes the Live does EAX, it just does it in software. Do yourself a favor and save up a bit more and get at least an Audigy 2 Value (and not an Audigy Value (or LS/SE/DE), same reason as the Live 24 bit), or an Audigy 4 non-Pro.
