Weaker AT mine?

1.4 Beta 2.
I was engineer and have laid a couple of mines to block a road.
After a while here comes a speedy buggy and drives right over one. The mine explodes, but the buggy keeps going, smoking, but still very much alive.
I've never seen this happened before, is this a new bug?

no its not a new bug. it happens all the time.

Is a buggy fast enough to get passed the mines before they explode or get their biggest damage radius?

I understand now why this happens.
It's because the mine explodes, but the buggy gets out of the blast area before it's fully affected. This can be fixed using several methods:
-increase the mine's radius of explosion,
-or increase damage over entire blast area (since every explosion has a decreasing area of effect).

Now this is a good tactic, to storm the roads in a buggy and destroy some mines in your path. :laugh:

yer iv had that before they should make the mine do more damage

your version is a bit easier to understand (imo)
if i don't know the english word, i try to descripe it, but then it's sometimes hard to understand

Yeah the AT mines should be able to destroy all kind of vehicles imo, no matter in what situation. But its a small issue compared with other bugs in the game though.
