EF Questions

Hello all,

After having a look at the ea downloader site and finding that I am able to buy the online expansions I have four questions:

1) Do you need to have any of the other expansions to BF2 Vanilla like
SF to be able to download and play EF?

2) I mainly like flying around in choppers and planes like 90% of the time
is EF the kind of thing I would like or is it like SF where you dont have much
in the way of planes?

3) I cant get into my server list at the moment (not on my BF2 PC) I was
hoping someone could tell me if theres a lot of servers playing EF in europe
as I like in the UK and if its a US only thing with a bad ping for me or ill only
be able to play it offline then I wont bother getting it.

4) Do YOU think it is worth the purchase now youve been playing it for a while?

1) You do not need Special Forces to have EF.

2) Operation Smoke Screen and Taraba Quarry have helicopters and jets. Great Wall has no air vehicles.

3) Not really sure on this.

4) I think it was worth it. I don't play it too often, but I always enjoy playing it.:)

although EF is ok

its not worth getting as there are only a handfull of servers on a normal night that are populated
1 or 2 playing Great wall
5 or 6 playing Operation Smoke screen
1 or 2 playing T quarry
which is a pity because ive just started to like EF where as there are loads of populated AF servers

Ya, I came back to EF too and found it is great.

As to the 3rd question: Most of the EF servers are in the EU. There are not many(if any) State-side. There are some clans that will fire one up on certain nights of the week. But it is not common.

I could not quite follow that statement. Are you asking for a list of EF/AF servers? Or just EF servers? If you are looking, might want to check out Qtracker.com
