Joystick problem

I bought a joystick today and set it up and its been having a problem since the first moment. When it is straight up and down, the plane leans to the left, and also forward (nose down) a little bit. Is it the joystick, or can I fix this problem?

BTW, its a Logitec Attack 3.

perhaps you have everything mapped wrong in the controls.

Oh man... It take about 6 Hours to set up a joystick correctly in BF2, tryed 1 times and that was a real problem to make it work like I wanted.... And it never worked correctly...

I'm not sure how to fix it though. It says Joy Axis 1 for Forward and Back and Joy Axis 0 for Left and Right.

If it is only slightly pulling, your joystick needs to be calibrated. Did you load in and look through the logitech drivers for the stick yet? Although not written for your joystick, I wrote a guide that may shed some light on possible fixes for you.

search on my name - you will find it
but here is the basic RULE
when you set up your joystick
you have to PULL back (climb/up) and push left (for turn left)
(the dive and right will auto complete)
if you do it the other way 1st - your controls will be backwards in the game
