Can someone help me? My friend gave me his computer screen cause he got another one. Its a Gateway 19" LCD WIDESCREEN. Its new and pretty tight, but i was thinking it would be better because i could have a wider view of things, but all it does is stretch everything out....It makes the scopes in games seem more oval then round, it stretches out the tanks so they look flat. In some ways its better but others it just looks weird. So i was wondering if theres something im missing, a setting or something. I set the resolution to 1280 and it doesnt change. I hope theres something im doing wrong, can someone help me. I'll give you a cookie. :)

Cool cool cool that worked. So do i have to do that with BF2 mods, or is allready set do i dont have to? And can i do that exact thing with other games like Bf1942, or BFV.? i havnt played them yet so i dont know if its streched or not.Comment

You have to add that to the command line for every BF2 shortcut you use whether you are loading it vanilla or as a mod.
It is not a setting that is saved.
I haven't played BFV or BF1942 since I got the widescreen but I imagine it might work with those games.Comment
