Re: Tanks Under Powered
Um, not your wrong-doing, but found in the link...
Assuming this guy is American (US), we aren't putting Saddam on trail. Plus, it's assuming guilt, which would be the end-all downfall of our justice system (even though we aren't trying Saddam)...When we convict Saddam we should put him on top of a horse statue and do the same thing.
On topic, tanks are fine, IMO. This isn't Realityfield 2... I won't flame, so I leave it at that.

AND planes? BS. Unless it is on the ground or hovering like an idiot they are near impossible to intentionally hit with a tank.Originally posted by -=[PC-EF]=- Surge<UK>iv hit many choppers and planes with a TANK..
Heli's I hit all the time as they hover a lot. Not too hard and requires no luck, really.
But no, tanks are not underpowered. They are just fine.

Re: Tanks Under Powered
Those guys laughs themselves are pretty funny. To those talking about tanks, try driving the tanks in Red Orchestra.

I have that game, the turret is controlled with the arrow keys, and no you can't remap it to the mouse.

Re: Tanks Under Powered
I don't tank that much but in one round where I grabbed a tank for fast transport I ended up takeing out 3 hovering choppers in a row with that tank and I never had to shoot em' more thatn once with that turrent. As far as tanks being underpowered try it Operation Flashpoint style with a postion for gunner/driver/commander in one tank :)

Re: Tanks Under Powered
I've been playing Allied Intent a lot and Korben and crew added a Kinetic Energy (Sabot) ordnance to the tanks which is really nice.
It has a very fast, very flat trajectory which takes out enemy armor (or you) very nicely. It has a long reload time on it, so it's not overused.
It also has the HE (High Explosive) ordnance, which has a faster reload time.
