Instant Weapon Unlocks?

I was playing online for the first time today for about 45 min-1 hour and all of a sudden i get a hint pop up saying that I have unlocked a new weapon. I look and see all my weapons unlocked. Is this right? I had played for a few hours againts bots, but I was always assault or engineer, yet everything is unlocked. Does the weapons unlock system really work like this?


PS: Should I download the latest official patch (1.3)?

so you was playing SinglePlayer and now you have ALL of the unlocks for online or something?

So you were playing singelplayer and got all unlocks, this is wierd, must be a glitch, a cool one I say.

No, it does not. You have to earn unlocks through ranks. Every rank gives you an unlock, and you can only choose 1 kit weapon to unlock (2 if you have SF and have played a round).

Unlocks for SP, though. I've never heard of it except for the "mods" that people have posted here (never got them to work BTW). I almost never play SP either, so I probably wouldn't know anyway.
