Ive been playing 1.4 beta 2 and ive been enjoying it the gameplay is great no ones worried about points because they dont get none for playing the beta so theres so much more teamwork going on.

I'm running v1.3 and v1.4b2 .. just use 2 separate directories..copy and paste.

..and no I won't quote you..but I'm SO glad it's gone in v1.4

Its still usefull for killing snipers they always hang of the edge of buildings and you can just clip them with a vehical drop.

That's so lame..just spot them and have another sniper or a grenadier take them out.

Vehicles are for dropping for soldiers who need a lift.

I play 1.3 because my clan server is playing it. If i had a choice, i'd switch back to 1.22.

1.3, but I only find a max of 100 servers, think this is more to do with how my firewall is set up and such however, everytime I update the list it brings up new and unusual ones.

As for mods, I prefer just playing normal Battlefield 2 thanks, not because of points but because it is what I enjoy, although there is no doubting that I will try out Forgotten Hope 2 when it is finally released as it looks totally awesome.

Ranking system ruins the game sorta.

not much people will play mods, hence a smaller mod community because of rank.

but if we didnt have rank, less people would play bf2 in general. so its sorta push tug war.

i wish mods were more popular though. its what kept quake alive all these years.

DICE gave me an Idea. now i have the original bf2,1.3,1.4. sometimes i go to the orginal just to own people on the Black Hawk.
