All of a sudden today BF2 stoped responding to my mic. I goto the C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 and click on BF2VoiceSetup, and I set it up fine. But when I try to test it under Controls-> Audio in the game the mic doesn't work.

I need info on your sound card and drivers:
Go to Start > Run > Type: DXDIAG
Go to Sound Tab - Paste Info Here
It could be that your sound driver went out. It does that with the
Realtek AC'97 Driver.Comment

im having a bit of a problem, i have used my mic before ingame, but when i do the setup thingy if i talk the slider doesnt move, even though i know people can hear me.Comment

did u press 'b' to talk. jus asking... some guy asked that same question recently and found it it was becos he didnt press 'b' to speak.
perhaps try remap your voich chat button to another button?
