Kicked for High Ping!

I was just kicked from a server by the admin for a high average ping of 96 when the round started!!! First one to spawn and had just started walking!! WTH!!!

What ever, I just thought some of you might find this funny!!

The server was [@] Headquarters EA Ranked BF2 Server

Yeah once I was kicked for having a ping of about 80 when the server average was about 160. . . weird.

Once I had a ping of 35 or so, while the rest of the server had like >250

I mean wtf... why don't the non-americans go to a different server... there's plenty of them.

I hate when everyone has a good ping (<80) and some jack*ss with >200 comes in and makes everyone laggy.

Yeah I hate it when ping flingers come on and the game lags like crap. Then the kick vote doesn't work, and the clueless moron doesn't pay attention to (or isn't aware of) the chat box, and it continues.

people with a 200 plus ping should consider leaving the server and find a better one coz thats a bit too much. a 96 ping is fine, and really shouldnt have been kicked for that


once i had a ping of 26 and the rest had a ping of 150 +

LOL, maybe there is some obscure ROE point about HPBs. It sucks when the only EF server is in Europe and so you automatically ping over 130 there.

there should be a options on the server page that lets you chose what regions of the world to filter out to help prevent selecting high ping servers. Of course you can look at it in the list but meh.

I typically ping in the 20s everywhere I play. But I have to sacrfice ping times if I want to play EF, because there are hardly any servers in the US. What pisses me off is people showing up with 250 pings and the game play goes way, way down.

Down the bottom right in Melbourne. My friend lives all the way over to the left in Western Australia, the servers we play on are above where I live, in Sydney. Im sure you have heard of Sydney :)

He pings about 120~130 from where he lives to the servers, he has to because there are hardly any servers where he lives!

is there a way to tell what your ping will be be4 u enter a server.



Also, is there a way to tell where the server is hosted from?


I've always liked how in warcraft 3 there are different servers for each continent.

Im just curious here, but does anyone have definitive proof that a player with a high ping effects the connection speed of everyone else to the server? Or is this all guesswork?

I was in BF2 CC to ban someone for a high ping and i accidently banned a low ping player i felt bad

I know for a fact that when an HPB gets into my vehicle, I have a lot of stuttering. Like if drive a tank (my ping 25) and someone with a ping of 140 jumps into my gunner slot, I can't hit a still object while I am in motion. Somethign simple to do.
