All sounds heard

Lately about half the rounds I join, as soon as I get on the server I don't just get local sounds, I hear all the sounds going on in the game at that time. Then if I can stand the noise long enough, if I happen to go around the corner of a random building or whatever, the problem goes away and I'm back to local sounds only.

I don't remember when it started and I'm just wondering if it's from the 1.3 patch, or if it's on my client side and I need to reinstall BF2? All suggestions welcome.

I have read that this is one of the 1.3 patch bugs. Same with the crashing to desktop when you join game. I get the crash bug but I haven't gotten the sound bug yet.

read that and if its the same problem, I posted a fix in there. There is a utube video for you to veify its the same problem.

When i join a server it seems that it waits a few seconds and displays all of the kills by both sides that have occurred to date, and possibly all of the text messages as well.

It always starts the tickets at full, which take a few seconds to get down to their current numbers.

I dont remember it doing this a long time ago, is it also from 1.3 patch?
