New 5v5 infantry ladder at FraggedNation

FraggedNation would like to announce the creation of a new 5v5 infantry only ladder. The maplist will consist of a mix of stock maps and custom maps. All rules, server settings and maps will be available at the fraggednation website, www.fraggednation.com in the BF2 forum. If you are interested and would like to help shape the beginning of this ladder please visit the site now and register. We are determining final settings and populating the ladder now. We don't have a start date yet but it will be soon. Spread the word!!

All teams are welcome to participate. We will have unranked servers to play matches on, So get your team signed up today for a new ladder that is sure to be fun. If we are successful with this ladder we plan on adding an 8v8 infantry w/light vehicles w/custom maps.

If you have any question, feel free to contact any of us.

actually, 5v5's on the 16 player maps are very fun. We've played about 40 competitive matches 5v5 and love the format. Sure, its not 8v8, but its good infantry pracitce / etc... As far as FN goes, we looked into playing TacOps over there but held off, the site seemed to function well, so maybe we'll give it another look.

Please do. We should have server config and rules up by the end of the day. I'm looking into 1 more custom map for the maplist and then we'll post that tomorrow. Maplist will likely contain 3 custom maps and 5 stock maps.

5 vs. 5 is actually extremely fun. Especally when you get lucky and kill all 5. :)

The ladder will open up this weekend. Rules and settings are posted on the forum. Maplist is still being tweaked and we're hoping to get at least one more custom map into the rotation.
