Can my Computer and GFX card power this 24" widescreen monitor?

I am seriously considering getting the 24"widescreen Dell 2407WFP since I am tired of the Dell 19" CRT I have been using since 1998. I am worried that my computer wont be able to run Battlefield 2 on it at an acceptible quality level. I have:

P4 3.0GHz 800MHz FSB (an older one back when they spec'd them by freq)
ATI X850XT Platinum Edition (AGP)
2Gigs Memory

Right now I can play at the 1200 x 960 resolution with mostly high settings and very little AF and AA and it is still a little choppy on some maps.

Anyone have a large monitor like this and know what I might expect? I doubt I will be able to play at the monitors native resolution of 1900 x something.

I dont plan on upgrading my computer until Conroe is mainstream.

Big screens like that Like SLI or CrossFire to run at their native resolution. You should be able to run it with your current card fine. Be sure to check the resolution specs on your card to see if indeed it does support the resolution of the new LCD. At a high resolution like that in games you will not need AA at all if any.
