Ditching BF2?

How many of you are planning on ditching BF2 once BF2142 comes out?

Because i personally havent even decided whether i want to even get the game yet. Tell me what you guys think.

I'm not sure, but I will probably buy 2142. Still doubt it's that good.

I don't plan on buying another EA/DICE game in the near future since they completely screwed BF2 over the past year which could have been the greatest game ever...

In addition, I won't be buying their games until they provide full support for the mod and SP/Co-op communities.

im with u man...after all the patches and still they cant get it right wtf? and they promise that bf2142 will have less bugs than bf2 lol. to me bf2142 is just a mod..look at the soldiers animation when not moving its the same animation just reskinned thats all..make it look cool so people will go oo man that **** looks kool im so gonna buy it!..lol

I am a participating member of 21CW and rarely pub. Ill go the direction of the tournament but I prefer current combat or past such as Vietnam or WWII.

Add me to the "not buying 2142" list.

With all the patching done so far in BF2 and several issues still not being resolved, I believe 2142 will turn out much the same. I doubt I will even bother with any game from EA based on my experiences this past year.

Reread my post.

I did not say that I stopped playing BF2. I simply stated I don't plan on buying another EA/DICE game in the near future due to the fact they have ****ed BF2 up so bad with all the patches and lack of support.

I will when World In Conflict, I don't feel like paying $50 on a mod a better mod team can create for free.

Nope, it took me a while to move out from SWAT3. I usualy wait till a game is $10-20, but BF2 was worth it for pre-order. Though I won't but 2142 because DICE used us as lab rats and BF2 was the cheese.

no i wont buy it..if i were to buy a new game and not a mod then ill go for QW..y buy the game i already have? bf2142 is just bf2 in disguised..plsu its running on the same engine and most likely will enherit the bugs from bf2.
