Pistols akimbo?

I know it would be completely unrealistic, but wouldnt it be cool if you could take the pistols from dead people and have one in each hand when you selected the pistol! Turn the battlefield into the Wild West!

Seriously though, they could balance it out by having greatly reduced accuracy. It'd be fun! :)

Why would that be unrealistic? THat would be awesome. As a sniper, I use my pistol all the time. Having two would make it so much more fun.

I guess it wouldnt be unrealistic because its entirely possible, but i was just thinking armed forces probably wouldnt do it in a combat situation. but then you wouldnt have to do it in the game, you could have a special button to pick up just the pistol and keep your kit.

but seriously you gotta admit, blowing someone away with 30 pistol rounds at close range would be heller fun.

What about different handguns? Desert Eagle .50? .44 or .357 Magnum? would make it more interesting. Different damage aswell for the bigger pistols, say 45% damage for the Desert Eagle but accuracy is lowered substantially at long distances due to massive recoil? The sniper class stays with the silenced pistol, the others get different pistols? What does everyone think?

How about both!? New pistols and the ability to weild two at the same time! Though maybe firing two DE's at the same time would be a bit mental. Perhaps it could only be allowed with smaller pistols.
