New monitor causing probs...

Hi there...
I've jost bought (buyed) a new monitor : Fujitsu/Siemens B19-2, and when i wanna play BF2, it just shows the "BF2" screen, and i get a black screen, and then it just crash into desktop. I've installed the newest drivers for monitor and gfx card.
When i plug my old monitor in (Samsung SyncMaster 100p+), the game starts without any probs...
Anyone knows what's wrong????

Specs : P4 2.4, 2048 ram, XP, Radeon 9800, directx 9,0c

Your current video settings in your bf2 profile is causing the problem.

Either:

Use your old monitor and start bf2, then go to your video config and change it to 800x600@60hz and save it, then connect your new monitor and reconfigure.

or...

With your new monitor, go into your bf2 profile and rename (or delete) the video.con file and then start bf2 and go into the video settings and set it to your new monitor suggested rate (1280x1024@60hz).
