Annoying Keyboard Lagging

During a match my Logitech Internet Keyboard (fairly new) will randomly started getting stuck or is slow to respond to movement (keeps running forward a second or two after i release the key) and when typing the letters appear very slowly.

i recently installed and used the full 1.3 patch

any solutions/fixes for this?

Are you certain it is not the game lagging rather than the keyboard?
Can you recreate the problem in other applications?

this is the first lagging ive come across on my computer so im preaty sure that bf2 is the problem but the laggin only affects my keyboard, not my mouse, fps or ping

Be sure you are running the BF2.exe process in NORMAL priority mode. Elevating the process with HIGH priority will cause all sorts of input issues, including the one you are describing.

Biggest problem I have is sometimes if I push prone then stand too fast it will lag for a second then I will all of a sudden be back prone. I've also had the same problem reloading coming out of my iron sights and I walk as fast as I were zoomed still...then the aninimation stutters a bit then all of a sudden I'm zommed so then I unzoom and reload and all is fine.

Oh...that sort of thing is actually 'normal'...although it is really just a sort of network lag.

thats odd coz i changed the priority coz the tip was in the bf2 technical guide thats stickied above. someone should edit that post

I know..people think that increasing the priority won't have any side effects...and it SURE does.

Bring up Task Manager (control alt delete) and right-click the BF2.exe process under the 'Processes' tab.

Then you'll see the 'Set Priority' option.

so i gotta do this while im runing bf2 well at least im in my menu account right?

is at normal, :), but hmm i still have this keyboard lagging prob but it only happens randomly.
