Ok, first the reason I post here is because the booster pack forums get at most 20 people watching at the same time.

EF is great fun, but there are barely any servers that support a 24/7 rotation of its maps. Why cant EA have a server of their own to support their own booster pack, and support those who bought it!! No one buys it cause people say its crap, but the 16 player versions are hosts to intense battles.

Am I the only one who would agree to this idea? Is there any way to "petition" an EA Euro Forces server?

EA does have their own servers. EA US Official EC and WC. They used to be Special Forces, Euro Forces, and regular. When AF was released they just made all their EC and WC servers go to regular maps.

I know they have their servers, but they should support their booster pack Euro Forces, before it totally dissapears

And by this I mean a Euro Forces ONLY server

yes, i also agree w/ sacremento. i mean it is there game do they want it to go away and have ppl not want to buy 2142?

The thing is, many people enjoy EF. Others dont give it a chance because they are mislead by comments that it sucks, so they dont buy it. I understand its a different kind of gameplay and that is why some people may not like it. But I think the reason they dont play it much is because you cant score really high points like you can in BF2V and SF. It just shows how people rather make points than have a good time (a very dissapointing thought).

Unlike AF, Euro Forces Introduced a WHOLE new army with new weapons (which are pretty sweet IMO, the shottie and medic weapon are unvelibable) and new vehicles. Why put this to waste?

Ya, I agree too. I wish EA would release a couple great maps for EF, AF, and SF that would help boost more people hosting servers. I just came back to EF and found that it is really good. But not for the average ground pounder, but the classic BF1942 player that liked DC.

Exactly. I think they should add maps to Special Forces. They are adding jalalabad to BF2v, boosters arent really supposed to have add-ons but SF is really missing a new map.

I do also agree. But the whole support for BF2 is a piece of siht, so I expect nothing

It is sad, when you think of some games that were great, but they just did not get the love they needed then got dropped. The abandoned communities that loved those titles never forget either.

It's funny how many divisions of dice/ea there are and we can't even get a hotfix for 1.3....and you're wanting support for a booster pack that hardly anyone plays :p .

I just started getting back into EF and it's a good time but sometimes the jets make it hard to get around. The new army, maps are a great addition though.

Really, we just paid $10 for it. Not like that is a crazy amount. But, then again, that was straight profit for them because they cut out a lot of the middle costs of packaging and distrubtion. If they had made one CQC map, like Karkand, people might love it. Oh well. I emailed Colin, and we was not to forth coming on plans for EF, AF. I suspect they might release another booster instead of developing more content for what is out there right now.
