Hi guys,

I've been playing BF2 for a little while in internet cafes, and finally got round to buying the game for use at home (casual gamer!). I've worked up to the rank of SGT or there abouts, but I'm having trouble with BF2 at home.

I installed the game, but when I play over the net on pub servers, my rank is not shown, and neither is that of any body else on the servers - and none of my unlocks appear.

I'm just curious as to what needs to be down to upgrade BF2 into the current net version to allow me to get all these features happening. All I have currently done is install the game, and started playing.

Any help on what to do would be appreciated!

Check that u have the ranked filter on, theres a bug also that makes u a private

STAY AWAY FROM BF2...once you get sucked into the warp..there is no coming out.:cry: It's like a drug! After playing non-stop for 200 hours...I am now a bum living on the streets of LA! Rape!

Back on topic: Update to the latest patch, you can do this by going to EA's website, since their download is the fastest. Also, make sure to download 1.3 full patch, not incremental, another thing, don't download 1.4 beta.

Have you installed the latest patch? 1.3 FULL, not incremental, not 1.4 BETA

Are you using the same account? Did you used to play in RANKED servers at the cafe or just LAN/SinglePlayer/Unranked?

If you want your points to count towards your account make sure you turned the RANKED filter on and play in ranked servers. If you can answer my questions then I will be able to help you better.

Hey guys,

Yes I was playing in ranked BF2 servers, and I'm using the same account as I have done previously.

Oh, and I haven't installed any patches either
