My current account a couple months ago got wiped after not playing for about a month and half, I lost all my badges, my rank at the time.

Huh? I have an account that I only used the 1st week the game was out and its still there. Something mustve happened. Maybe your stats got wiped for something you did, but then you left for a while and thought it was because of inactivity?

I didn't do anything, I uninstalled vanilla for about three or four months due to school and sports then reinstalled it and patched everything up-to-date and found that I lost all my stats. It might have been when I forget to unclick delete profiles and it deleted it but I think it would all return when I retrived my account. O-well doesn't matter now I got more badges now, and got a higher rank than I originally was Gunny Sgt.

imho, you should also have an option to leave your PID for "holiday"

i.e, i might have to leave the country at some point, for example few months.. as i often do. I might not be able to play when abroad (unlikely, thanks to my laptop ) but, if i had a situation that i can't play, then it would suck *** to read the mail, and just do nothing about it...

but in exchange, you could be able to tag your PID as a "not available" or "hibernate" or something.. would be neat :) (and if you had the "hibernate" tagged, it wouldnt try to update your stats ---> less server load for the stats server)
