I am finding that if I join a game, and I the server places me on a team that is loosing, if I wait till the end of the round without spawning, I do not get dinged with a loss. It seems pretty clear because I look at my stats a lot on this. Has anyone else ever noticed this or has it been discussed. I guess I am still concerned about that ol 3:1 thing.

Re: Reporting a loss?
not sure if many gamers would follow your lead here , imean regardless of the fact you join a team about to lose you should surly still try to help out iv seen over 100ticket differences turned over just by adding new players into the fray rather than idle and take up a slot also i guess you mean 3:1 for the now nerfed war college ribbon so whats the point
get stuck in

, I guess you can't read between the lines.
Well, I am talking like 15-75; you're not turning that score around. It is one of those things like, well, it is not going to matter if I jump in at this point anyway. There are two camps on this I am sure, those that feel like w/l does not matter anymore, and those that care about their k/d and w/l ratios.Originally posted by Dibblynot sure if many gamers would follow your lead here , imean regardless of the fact you join a team about to lose you should surly still try to help out iv seen over 100ticket differences turned over just by adding new players into the fray rather than idle and take up a slot also i guess you mean 3:1 for the now nerfed war college ribbon so whats the point get stuck in

Re: Reporting a loss?
That used to be a HUGE issue back in the WCR ribbion days.
Dont worry about it, eat your losses and try to find the winning team. If you play often enough the required victorys will come eventually.
Everyone understands that a room full of nooblets and tards does not = victory.

Re: Reporting a loss?
I have joined a server and as soon as it puts me on a team (loosing) the game ends. I have never looked to see if it registered as a W/L though. Oh well, the game goes on and there is always another round.

Comoon, dude. Just play hard and you can be the right man leading your team to the victory.

Re: Reporting a loss?
That happens to me too. It seems I always join the losing team. I don't do the team switch though. I take the loss and move on. I didn't know though that if you failed to spawn you don't get the loss. I wonder if it will count as an incomplete round?

Hmm, see what I mean? I jumped in and got two wins, eventhough I was technically in for 3 rounds.

I dont care what team is winning or losing, I always try to get on the USMC team. Unless its Dragon Valley.

Re: Reporting a loss?
As long as you don't spawn, you don't get the win or the loss, AFAIK.
And I agree with you. If I join a game and there is no hope of my team winning, and the round is close to an end, I don't spawn. I'd rather start fresh and not become cannon fodder for some APC or Tank that's waiting at the last flag (or Uncap) to mow down players.
It's not about W/L ratio for me.
