Why does the J10 need to be nerfed? Sure it may be overpowered or a God of skys or whatever you want to call it, but when you let Dice know that something needs to be nerfed, it can be a bad idea. Instead why not think about say increasing the power of the F35, may be an inbalance to fighting the MIG I guess, but whiners whine about that. The Eurofighter is a moving bug, its pretty dodgy to control, it needs fixed yeah, but its a challenge to vs the MIG, even though the MIG is better.

Same with the J10 and the F35, everyone whines about they want the J10 nerfed yet they use it themself. And people like Metallica etc who want the J10 nerfed, tell me this, why don't you use it yourself?

I think the J10 is pretty good, not because its ''overpowered'' as you all say, but because its a nice Jet to use, its fast, good at turning etc, put a J10 on the USMC carrier, that would be pretty cool too. I'd rather that than nerf the J10. The cannons on the J10 are pretty good as well, and its a nice Jet to line up to kill some intruders on the island.

Oh yah, don't flame me, just debate this.

nerfing the f35 UP is the same as nerfing the j10 DOWN to me, it just needs to be evened out, because the j10s missiles are fire and forget after the enemy jet has launched flares, has MORE AFTERBURNERS than the f35, and has an incredible turning radius, if the f35s missiles were A LOT better that would solve it for me.

I think they should replace the F-35 with the F-14 Tomcat (joke).

They should reduce the power of the J-10 a little while at the same time increasing the power of the F-35 so that the two meet half way.

I really like the F-35, as it seems to me to be the fastest jet in BF2 and the vertical take off and landing is really cool. Its just a shame that I always get owned when flying it!:)

As a side note, in real life I would expect the F-35 to be better than the J10.

They will nerf the j10 if they address it whereas all they need do is improve the F35b.
Nerf up not down.
Give the F35b a great airbrake and fix the massive hitbox and you will have balance and happy pilots. The j10's superior manouverability vs the F35bs superior acceleration/deceleration - the mere thought of it is awe-inspiring.

all they have to do is improve the F35b. Nerf UP not down.
It can still be inferior but still very competitive if it comes down to it

They should put F16's hell what is it? I think its F16, the one where USMC cap the airfield and the F what spawns? F15? Anyway those are roughly the same as the J10, well I've taken out J10's with the F1/5/6.

myself the only thing i think that needs to be fixed on the j10 is the hit box, so many times I ahve pulled right up behind one and watched all my missles bypass the dang thing even though i had lock

Make the J-10 hitbox ever so slightly larger, and make the F35 hitbox a helluva lot smaller and all is well. While they're at it make the MiG29's hitbox smaller too since that thing's a bit of a missile eater as well. I actually would prefer the jets to not all be as easy to hit with ATA missiles as the F35 is. Ground AA can hit them just fine, but ATA shouldn't be so easy IMO.

To make a weapon as effective as a nerf ball, in other words, to make it completely harmless, is where the term "to nerf" comes from.

(For those outside the USA, Nerf balls are foam, super-light, and about as harmless anything gets.)

"To nerf" = "to weaken"
"To nerf up" is a wildly stupid way of saying "to strengthen".
"To nerf up" makes as much sense as saying "to weaken up" when you're trying to say "to make it stronger".

I vote for a new term: "to De-Nerf". As in "Why don't they de-nerf the F35 so it has a chance against the J10?"

The j-10 should not be nerfed. People need to undestand that armies have advantages over other armies in different aspects. War is not meant to be balanced, thats why its war!! All you have to do is fix the F-35 missiles, and increase the j-10 hitbox. The spawn time for the F-35 should also be lowered but thats it.

Why make them balanced? The j-10 was meant to turn and fly faster. Dont fix the "balance" issues and fix the "bug" issues. The j-10 turning faster is not an issue, the F-35's missiles always missing IS an issue.

Despite all of its setbacks, I can always get behind a j-10 with the current patch. I let him drop his flares, stay behind him, and use my afterburners smartly. Problem is, from the 6 missiles I fired only one hits.

the j10 shouldnt be nerfed, its fine. the anti air missiles need to be fixed, and the flares. they need to behave the same on every airframe, thats the real problem here!
