Hey guys. I've been pushing for an expert Assault Badge, and I have enough time to almost taste it. My question is, can you get the 40 kills IAR BEFORE getting the 100 hours, and get the badge when I reach the 100 hours? That's exactly what I've done, and I was just wondering if those 40 kills were all for naught. Thanks.

No, you can't. You'll have to repeat the 40 kills IAR after you've exceeded 100 hours. For any award, all global requirements must be met before the IAR ones are attempted. -

If you want to get the expert try to get the kill ONLY after the timerequiremant is fulfilled in your BFHQ. (eg. you can start a round with 99.9 hours and have 80 kills but you wont get teh metal)Comment

I don't have any Expert badges for kits, but how do you get 40 kills IAR without a vehicle? do you need to be on a high point server or something?Comment

you can use a vehicle, you just have to be the kit that your going for the badge onComment

It's kinda hard to get 40 kills as infantry, but city maps are good for this purpose.Comment

Do it as commander with Artillery along with fighting on the ground AFTER you get your required 100 hours.
You dont need high points servers for that stuff.
The real issue is making sure you have all the badges advanced or better by the time you get into 1 Star Territory of the ranks.
It might take a little more than the exact hour count to get the badge. Some of the ribbions Ive recieved needed 2-4 hours more than the 50 required.Comment

after you get your time requirements... you can use any means to get your 40/44 kills. Vehicles, arty... guns, equipment... anything. Woohoo... I'm starting to get a ton of expert badges and medals.Comment

As mentioned before, 100hrs 1st, then the 40.
I have 2, Assault, which I got the honest way on a full Sharqi64 server (got last kill with 3 tickets left lol), and SpecOps, which I did going 56-7 in the Havoc on Oman.
Working to get AT and Engy over 100 hrs, then will work on those badges next.
edit - and if you'e looking to do this with the kit killing infantry, a map like Sharqi or Karkand is the best bet, and you'll need help - mainly a medic in your squad dedicated to following you around. I <3 medics and would hate to see my k/d ratio without them.Comment

Yeah, I have expert Assault, and it was a b*tch to get infantry-wise. I managed to get 40 infantry kills on my Wake server, it seemed that people loved jumping into FAV's and my grenade launcher seemed to land on them every time. It was awesomeness. By the way, if you have the F2000, use it. Great, great, great gun.Comment
