    Lag and crashing

    I brought the game yesterday and installed today... but it takes forever to load.... it takes like 10-15 mins to join a server and sometimes as i click Join Server after map load... BF2 closes and returns to desktop and i recieve messages reporting of low virtual memory can anyone help??

    XFX Geforce 7600gt xxx (x1)
    AMD 64 3700+
    512 RAM
    Gigabyte K8 triton mobo SLI

      Firstly make sure you have your page file on. Secondly you dont have enough ram to run BF2 adequetly, most people consider 2 gigs as the sweet spot for BF2 but you need at least a gig. Get More!!!!
