Forgotten Hope 2

Sorry but Im a little bit of a late-comer to this particular mod. I was just looking at the website and I have to say, I may never play vanilla again when this thing comes out... stats or no stats, I dont freakin care. It looks amazing.

I looked all over their site but didnt see much info on time-tables.

Anybody know when we may expect this masterpiece?

Unfoutunately no time table as of yet, Forgotten Hope 2 should be wonderful,.. the Forgotten Hope mod for BF1942 was really good, better than vanilla BF1942 and it looks like there raising the bar for mods once again. Best guess based on my expiriance would be something with in 3-6 months??

its a total conversion so may take time and be a large file but definatly worth it

I dont mind even if its 5 gigabytes, excellent total conversions are worth it.

I had several for 1942, but made the mistake of downloading a DC mini mod, and will not do so again. Only good thing about one i found was that it made jumping with vehicles very easy, which was very fun.

This mod looks incredible. I will definitely download it when they are finished. So far, its the only mod that I really like.

You ought to look into BFP2 at bfpirates.com. They havent shown as many screens or renders, but what they have shown looks just as impressive.

However, for every Star Wars, there is a galaxy full of battlestars.

For every Beatles, a barrelful of Monkees.

It is the same with mods for BF2: an avalanche of useless mini stunt mods, a few "total conversion" modern combat ones that just rip of forgotten hope in both name and concept.

And only a few great total conversions, none of which are out yet.

FH2 is coming along nicely - its reading posts like these from TRUE fans that makes it all the worth while. I don't play vanilla anymore - but i keep the CD because i know when this is released it will pwn all games - old and new. Keep up the support guys - you all really are the fuel that feeds the fire :)

P.S - I am so pleased that everyone here understands the toils of total conversion mod work - i was so expecting to open this and see a barrage of pessimism over release... suffice to say i was pleasently surprised!

I would also recommend that you check out Point of Existence 2 - it will probably beat FH2 in the release rush which is actually not a bad thing - cause it will be fan-friggin-tastic aswell and will be a good appetite wetter for all of us who hanker for WW2 action!

lmfao i accedently downloaded the 1942 FH mod and i was trying to make it work for bf2 untill i found out its for 1942, took me a while to figure that out lol

Yah MOHAA is dead (rip) and COD2 is a pos game. So I am pretty desperate to play something WWII themed. I downloaded like 5 mods in total for BF2 and they all sucked hard core. FH2 is the only one I’m actually looking forward to playing… I hope it isn’t a disappointment :P

I really hope FH2 team makes something for me. TO keep the music of the first releases of FH1 mod. THAT was an amazing theme. Reall put you in WW2 feeling.
