well you were wrong ... you don't need ALL your basic badges. Just basic kit badges with knife and pistol.

Like I press the icon twice, it come's up, goes into a black screen, then start's flashing black, and crashe's to desktop.

it happend to me i never worked out how to fix it so i just got a new puter lol(cant live without bf2):)

I look at my BFHQ, and it say's I have 30093 for global point's. I haven't receaved my First Sargeant yet...Anyone got any suggestion's or anything?

noob, you missed some basic badges, you'll never be a first sargeant.

I looked at my BFHQ, and it says I have 30,093 for global point's. I also don't have the all the awards that are needed to be first seargent. However, I am very stupid and like to complain for no reason without searching the forums. I am a dumb noob, please ban me

ok heres how you fix it

first go to www.ea.bf2support.com download the sporkeh file and extract it anywhere but the steam folder, then you need to unistall internet explorer, that will fix your problem

Go play one of the great available BF2 mods (maybe even one with Alternative BF2 Ranking, people who use that are MUCH less n00bish).

Suddenly you may realize you're actually having FUN playing BF2 without checking the scoreboard every 2 seconds because you have to get that veteran whatchamacallit badge so you can show it off to your friends, oh wait they don't give a crap anyways because they're too busy building houses in Sandbox, so they laugh at you. It's mind-blowing.
