Kicked for the wrong reason. WTF?

so i was playin karkand today and was afk for like 15 minutes to go eat dinner and when i came back it said i had been kicked for excessive team killing. (if for anything i shoulda been kicked for idleing). has it ever happened to any of u guys? can someone explain this to me?

**Note that i left at the very beginning of the round hiding in a secluded area.

The excessive teamkilling message is just a generic one produced by punkbuster. We have messages set in bf2cc on our servers, but for some reason it only ever displays the excessive teamkilling message in the pop up after you get kicked.

Our idle time is 4 minutes, you cant expect to join a game then sit there doing nothing for 15 minutes. There may well have been other people who actually wanted to play the game instead of joining then sitting idle for ages.

I agree. Joining a server and then sitting there for fifteen minutes is selfish (and not helping your team any). Why not disconnect for that fifteen minutes and then rejoin when ready? I think you deserved to be kicked. :evil: :evil:

Yes, you were probably booted for idling, not for tk. It is wrong to take up a server slot for so long while being inactive.... like others say, just disconnect and then come back when you are ready-

ideling in assets is the one of the most annoying things in game having 2 c4 your own tank becouse its the only way to get it into battle

i understand now, i was just a little confuesd is all.
**btw i never intentionally idle. stuff randomly comes up ya know like piss/crap breaks and to answer the phone. that was one of the rare occasions i was afk for more than 3-5 mins.
