Can you sprint diagonally?

I know you can walk diagonally, but can you sprint?

I ask this because I use a wireless bluetooth keyboard for gaming, and get paranoid that I can't sprint diagonally for this reason. Sometimes these wireless keyboards can have problems with multiple key presses.

No diagonal or strafe sprinting in BF2. Just straight ahead with the ability to turn left and right.

Yeah, I noticed this. Not sprinting but just walking diagonally. I walk diagonally a lot of the time in other games but it just doesn't work in BF2. I never posted on the forums about it as no one elsed seemed bothered by it so I didn't want to look like a weirdo :-)

I would love to see someone attempting to sprint a 100m diagonally :laugh:
However, it would be nice to turn your head while sprinting without having to change direction to where I'm looking - I think that's what we all want
