Bf2 Crashing On Me Help!!!!!!!!!!

okay i have bf2 and it keeps crashing and going back to my desktop. As soon as i click a server it closes and goes to the desktop. I downloaded 1.3 and its still not working. I have read various articles of the same problem and it seems there are many solutions.

i am running a GeForce 6200 AGP 8x 256mb
512ram

i am gonna take the card back tomorrow and get a new one but i dont want to spend alot of money if its not neccessary

Well how about you try some of the solutions before you post, also if your after a video card im afrid your going to have to spend a lil bit of money, but if you can find a 6600GT or something you might be able to play bf on low/med

Edit: Plz get more ram... the days of under 1gig of ram are over.
