    Piloting

    Hey Guys,
New here, and while this may not be the foremost thing on everyone's minds with the new beta Patch out, I have a question about flying in 1.3. I would be a decent pilot if only I could keep up with other enemy planes...I dont understand it. I use a Cyborg Saitek EVO joystick, and even though I turn as hard as I possibly can (use ailerons, banking and afterburners going down on a decline so gravity can lend a helping hand), the other jets still manage to outturn me. I attributed this to the ****ty-ness of American jets, but I was just in a J-10 and i tried every trick in the freakin book to get a pesky F-15 off my tail....and he kept right with me. Whenever I try flying the F-15, it's like flying a brick, but he stuck right with me and machine gunned me down while in a hard bank...
I don't know if something is up with my joystick that prevents me from pulling as hard as the other jets or if my techniques just plain suck, but I'm wondering WTF am I doing wrong with this whole piloting thing? Any help would be appreciated.

(I set both YAW and PITCH RATE to max as well....still no improvement)

I've been wondering this myself as of lately I've been noticing F-35's able to match turns with me in a J-10 which shouldnt happen. It will be interesting to see what the issue is.

Play with your sensitivity settings in the options. You'll turn so fast you'll see your own turbine.

You can easily match turns with a J-10, just not the whole circle. Just slow down alot, then nail the afterburners. You will have like a 4-5 second window to do whatever.

I do use them, as much as possible, actually...I find that I twist the joystick left/right (my rudder control) so hard that if i upset the base the damn thing goes flying....sensitivity options didn't help. Thanks for the replies though. I'm thinking its my joystick?? Or maybe im just in denial of how good a pilot i am? lol.
