I pre-ordered BF2142 at Game Stop and they had a October 3rd release date listed. They have it retailing for $49.99 and $5.00 will reserve a copy for you.

Ditto. If the 1.30 patch is an example of how EA/DICE will support their game, then count me out. I'll try Quake Wars next.

I really dont care when its going to come out, I'm still going to buy it. EA promised it would not have the problems of BF2, and I want to find out if they live up to there promises. If not, I'm never buying an EA game again.

I didn't get the Veteran Program email so I'm not getting 2142. I probably wasn't anyway. But I didn't see anything on the official EA website that said October, as others have said. It still says TBA. Maybe they're too busy with 1.4 to update their page? :laugh:
