    Windows Registry

Okay here is my problem, I got a new copy of BF2 clean key and all. I install the game fine, patch fine. However when I connect to a Multiplayer server I click on "Join Game" and I see the battlefield for a second. BF2 then exits to the main menu. With the error that I am GUID banned. However, its a clean key and all. My friend said it was that my old key was still in my Windows Registry. How can I erase that one and replace it with my new one?

    Thanks.

    Re: Windows Registry

go to the Start Menu, then go to the "Run" command. type in "regedit" without the quotes, this will bring up the registry, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" and then "Software" then delete anything in there that has to do with battlefield, or EA, or Dice. then reinstall bf2 and patch it again. that should do it, just be careful not to delete anything else cause you could screw your computer up and have to reinstall windows if you delete the wrong thing...
