Hey folks
I normally dont post allot in other forums, unless its really important, and I have something constructive to say.
I am the BF2 Commander for the [RCA], as such I set up the server, adjust settings, senior admin, etc. you get the drift.
Anyways, my comrade can get excited at times and his fingers may fly across the key board and hit enter.
I believe he was upset with the title of your orginal post "[RCA] server avoid it".

Just to clarify, the server is set up with 45 second start delay. It has been that way for about 6 months. I had it shorter, but got complaints from Clan members and guests. Now I get complaints that it is too long.
You can never please everyone, so I dont try, I attempt to keep it nuetral not favoring anybody/anything.
Some of the posts in this topic have some good points.
While others, well I wont go there.
Anyways by telling people to avoid our server did nothing to help your cause.
What it did do was to put some on the defensive. If that was your intent, you succeeded.
You can call the Clan out all you want, however I will tell you this that we are a 19+ age group clan that does not compete, we just play on our Clan server to have a good time along with anybody in the public that wishes to have a good game.
We make no claims to being better than anybody/Clan.

We welcome any and all gamers to enjoy the game with us.

It's not everybodies fault that people have crappy computers and try to play a game that requires a high end computer.

if they can play it then certainly they have a computer that meets the requirements. sheesh. Not everyone can talk their mom/dads/wives into letting them spend a lot of money on computers when they have school/no job/kids to take care of.

Well if you say avoid the server, then why are you still playing here !
We have increased the start time to allow for NORMAL ( average ) users over the year !

We have the start delay set for 45 seconds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That allows 70% of the people to get connected and moving.
We have actually had emails and people in the server wanting it SHORTER !!

If you cannot connect and play in that time... you need to get off the P3 800 machine you are playing on !! Whatever.

I am sorry that you cannot compete unless you think that having the last 3 people on your team connected makes a difference.

The simple fact is that there is a TIGHT team on RCA server and many cannot compete against that.
If you do not have mutiple players in TS and comm well, then you have lost half the battle.
But do not try to come here for sympathy.... it just shows how much of a BABY you are.

If you thought that you and your clan could come onto the server and OWN....well... I guess you found out differently.. and now you whine about it.

Makes me wonder why you are still playing there as I type this???

At any rate... RCA caters to ADULTS... mature people who want to have good commraderie while playing on line.
We do not tolerate TK for vehicles or whining and BS that distracts players during the game.
We allow people to play the game without too much interference from admins.

You claim to be old but never claim to be mature, and a mature person would display sportsmanship and not yell out your a child whiner at those who come to you with a valid point in a respectful manner as i did on your server.
It's sad cause in general i liked you guys till the name calling started after i asked if you would set the game start time back. If you think your clan is so tight and good then I publicly call you guys out. =IMO= will take you on on any map. Let's see how tight you are when everyone on the map spawns at the same time.

RCA does have some very good admins but THJones is right they do base rape quite a bit. I played there a lot this weekend and the few RCA players that were there spent most of there time trying to steal my teams jets. It lead to our team winning most of the time becuase they would fly there jets over jump out then get killed on the runway trying to take our planes. Gave our jets enemy free air to do as they wish.

The reality is there are some really cool [RCA]'s i enjoy playing with. But the fact that the server plays each map one time causing a map reload every round and the delay is set shorter than someone here claimed I won't be going back I am tired of the rape sessions. To tell me to upgrade does no good you want me to upgrade all the players assigned to my team too? Every round the RCA's would be in the enemy teams main stealing their jets or armor before most of the other team even spawns. So they are lucky to have fast pc's and gain the advantage. Personally I like good challange and a good fight not a rape session round after round after round....I will miss my air battles with lucky but its just too much too take.....
