How do you get a road kill with a ground defense weapon since it doesn't move?

If you're on a TOW and shoot a tank, but it doesn't instantly kill them. But when they get out, the tank explodes and ends up killing them. Instead of you getting credit for killing them with a tank, you get a road kill for the TOW.

I would think maybe taking someone down in the hummer with the TOW on SF or something as well would count.

Correct. Getting a kill for someone killed by an exploding vehicle counts as a roadkill. Strange but true. :)
