There are many tutorials on these forums on how to make movies. To get you started, just make sure your demo file is in the correct folder and then when in game, go to the Community tab at the top and your demo file will be there. You play it in game and start recording what you want using Fraps.

For more specific directions, use the search option on the forums here and all your questions will be answered.

I know how to make a video and stuff. I am just trying to figute out this BR recoder that works outside of BF2.

I found that Recoder playback thing, that you can play your demos out of game. Only problem is it's not working. I put the files in the right file, but now I am having a hard time figuteing out what to do again. I go into the consle, I type the name of the Demo, I don't type anything for cam, and I type 5 for the Screen and I hit enter and then the screen just goes away. WTF
I keep reading the Insts from the site on How to use it, but I am getting confussioned

STill looking for something to film with EOG? lol sucks, i believe they used fraps and vegas, im not really sure

Oh and i never really got the chance to comment anything about the film, well here it comes

The Good: I liked the music, and the beggining of the movie, just to start out and tell the viewers what is really going on. Good acting too

The bad: I could barely read what was typed at the beggining and dont get me wrong but the zoom camera around the action with sound was a good effect but i think you overused it, thats just my opinion.

So overall i would give this movie a 8.5 or above out of 10

Hi guys.
Only got to see your movie Nice job. First of well done and nice job for doing a big project :). And well done to all the actors good work, the only thing is it didnt strike me as a movie ! first of i wouldnt use the BF2 music as it seemed more like a music video. I dont no if that what you guys wanted but hopefully you'll change it for the 2nd half. Editing was done very well some good cuts you should try some closer shots and maybe some faster editing for the action shots. Some nice bullet time shots and effects well done.
Camera shots where good but got a bit messy in place's which is a shame because you would have a well polished film. 7 - 10
Just my opion, It is one of the better videos i seen i a good while nice job to all and well done. Looking forward to the rest :)
