    BF2 Causing me big ping issues and packet loss

    My computers ping is completely fine and normal when i load it up and play on other online games with it such as World Of Warcraft, Guild Wars, America's Army but when i load up BF2 my computer has serious ping issues i have never had problems with BF2 like this before please people any ideas what the problem could be? My ping shoots upto 350 minimum please post to help me fix this problem

    I WANT TO PLAY BF2 ! :cry:

    We'll first, Do you have any Antiviruses running in the background? Or any time of chat program AIM, Msn, Yahoo ec tera? If so close those.

      that cant be the problem because then on after closing BF2 my computer still has high ping

      please i need help

        maybe its the server, try going on a whole bunch of diff servers

          open up a command prompt (START > RUN > type cmd > press ENTER ) and type:
          ping www.google.com -t
          Let it run for a few minutes then hit CTRL+C to stop the pinging. Copy and paste the results in here to help in troubleshooting your problem.

          Also running the command: tracert www.google.com
          and pasting the results will be helpful

            Try www.pingplotter.com and download their pingplotter app to test your connection and use a 3rd party browser like Qtracker (www.qtracker.com) to ping your game servers.

              i don't even have to join a BF2 server for my ping to change it is just logging into my BF2 accounts

                Disable your firewalls

                Also consider upgrading your router's firmware.
