BF2 crashed and stall my comp

Hi guys,

I got a problem here...a very big one :hmm:

I cannot play bf2 multiplayer mode but the funny thing is that i can still play bf2 singleplayer mode.Everytime i connect to a server...it immediately stalls my computer totally ( need to use hard restart button).So any ideas to fix it?.:cry:

what connection speed u have, have u tried running any virus, malware, adware spyware programs, as if u can play single player it means that there could be issues with ur connection & not the game.

i'm using broadband and for the anti-virus,i'm using Trend Micro.

Simple way to understand:

Internet : I can connect(my bad for an incomplete word) but when i press the "JOIN" button, it totally stalls my computer..and i need to use the restart button.But when i play singleplayer...it is smooth.I've reinstalled bf2 for 4 times and i'm using the full 1.3 patch.

For what it's worth I am having the same problem. Up until last Friday, I had no problems with the game. For me, some servers are working ok but most are not. Have reloaded Punkbuster and turned off all virus protection while in game. Still no success. HELP!!!!

Can someone please try and answer this as I am having the same issues, I lockup at the kit selection screen and have to restart.

Same story as the rest of us since patch 1.3. Have got the game running again but some servers are still really laggy depending on the time of day.

Use the instructions in this link to completly unistall the game

Then, reinstall the game. Install the full 1.3 patch and update punkbuster and the game should work. If the game install crashes or patch install crashes, start over again.

EA also suggested setting up a new administrator account and installing the game under this new account incase the regular account is corrupt. Yet to try this one, this will be tonights task.

Hope this helps. Ea is well aware of the probs were having with the latest patch so fingers crossed a fix will be here soon......holding my breath
