Yes, to be on the safe side install the full 1.3 patch.

You need to install 1.2 in order to install Euro Forces, I assume you need to install 1.3 before AF install. So it seems that the correct installation should be:

BF2>1.3>SF>EF>AF>1.3(again)

Right?

No, just look at my sig, the 4th line down. In order to go one step further socal, when you reinstall the game run defrag twice. This will rearrange the files on your hard drive in a way that will make everything run more efficiently.

When I try to install EF is says I needed one of the patches, I think it said 1.2.

Here's How I Install Everything ...

BF2 -> SF -> 1.21 Patch -> Euro Force -> 1.3 Patch -> Armored Fury ;

Basically, I Follow The Chronologic Release Of The Patches & Expansions,
I Never Had a Version Issue When Playing Online So Far ...

you dont need 1.21 YOUR SUPPOSED TO USE THE FULL 1.3 NOT THE INCREMNTAL DUH
