Joystick Axis Mapping

Hey guys, recently I re-installed BF2 to get rid of the CTD issue. All went well, apart from when I attempted to map my joystick axis’s in BF2 (I use the profiling software for the my Helicopter and Aircraft keys).

So I'm in controls trying to map my axis’s all works fine, go into game, all works fine. I close BF2, then load it up again and all my axis controls are reset. None of my other custom mappings (in common) are changed.

Any suggestions?

THis may sounda bit stupid so I apologize in advance....
Are you hitting "Apply" after you remap everything?

I smell a reinstall coming on...LOL!!! I looked around some other forums and I cannot find anything related to it. I'm sorry man, I tried...:cry:

Yay another re-install! Thanks a bunch for looking around. I had a search myself and couldn't turn up anything, thanks for trying :)

Try just deleting the controls.con file

If that doesn't work, then try deleting the contents of My Documents\Battlefield 2 (but remember your username and password)

Another option would be to unplug all other USB gaming devices and leave JUST your joystick plugged in prior to starting BF2.
