Error Message - Insert CD

After i installed BF2 Deluxe Edition, and when i clicked on the icon to start the game up, an error came up telling me to insert CD 1. I double checked to make sure in was, and even clicked on the autorun from the CD and it still gave me an error message. Any ideas?

Instead of clicking autorun click the desktop icon that says BF2. DO NOT click the "Play BF2 Online Now!" That one is a trap.

Same thing. It says to make sure the right disc is in. The right disc is in though. I have also had this problem with FarCry and Quake 4, i just got a ***** for those, but i would like to have the issue resolved.

try using the mini image tutorial thats in the sticky in this board. so you wont even need a cd then

well, i created the mini image and it opened up the cd to view the contents, but when i clicked the BF2 icon it says to disable emulation software

Not sure, but quite possibly you have a slow CD ROM drive. I think you need at least a 40x speed or above to run those games. This is just a theory though.
