I just did a fresh install of Windows and BF2. BF2 is running like a champ with settings maxed out. I would like to keep it that way but I also want to have a program/programs that will keep my PC healthy. The things I am interested registry cleaner, defrag, and antivirus/antispyware. I also would like something that won't bog my system down. Any suggestions?

CCleaner
Ad-Aware
Spybot S&D
AVG Anti-Virus
are all you need, windows defrag will do the job.

Re: Need advice on low overhead PC health programs.
I personally defrag almost daily and have one of the best antispyware/virus protection etc out there. I use panda software and to date (of 3-4 months use) I've blocked 4500+ spywares, 14 viruses, and 3 dialers. And please keep in mind this is just daily browsing on a dsl line.
