  • Mobility X1600 256mb + BF2 = Bi Polar FPS?

I had most settings on high with the card and everything ran and looked great. I was constantly getting 50+ fps and never dipped below 30+ fps, yet BF2 stuttered like hell. Even somewhat on a wired connection to the internet.

    I have 1gb RAM.

My T2400 1.83Ghz should handle bf2 fine right?

Also when I hit quit game, why the hell does it take so long to full quit bf2 and return back to Windows? Doesnt happen with my other games.

    Thanks!

Its your ram, BF2 needs approximately 2GB of ram to everything on high.

ok, I know what caused the stuttering.
