how can they tell if we are vets from 1942 as nothing was recorded from back then to prove we are indeed veterans of that aswell as bf2.

exactly.

plus, bf2 and bf2142 seem to go together more than with 1942. 2142 is more like a sequal to bf2, kinda like bfvietnam was more related to bf1942

theyre not gonna hve the weapons from 2142 in bf2, i thought theyd have the NUMBER of unlocks not the guns themselves

Hell I thought 1.3 was a beta..... and 1.22 oh and 1.... nevermind.

This is a global multimillion dollar corporation guys not some kids in a garage knocking out pong clones, get real they should release software that for one doesn't crash servers that their community or users, client base etc etc pay for independently... I could obviously go on about the numerous problems that EA have failed quite spectacularly to deal with, and the imaginary problems they have dealt with.

EA/Dice/Whoever takes the money and their team have real problems with their support for the people that bought this game. I joined this site to get answers to the issues I was having with this game, couldn't get a moment of clarity from EA, think about how much that sucks.

I have more questions. I just updated my video driver (GeForce FX Go5200 with 64Ram) I know that it doesn't meet the minimum hardware requirement and everything is so sluggish, can't play the game. But before I updated driver I was able to play the game. Then I updated the patch from 1.22 to 1.3 and it still doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Roll back to what you had before. Uninstall the new driver, and to get back to the 1.22 version, you'd need to reinstall the game.

how do u know its about testing it?, what if its some other sort of something, like transferring accounts/global score/unlocks (at least unlokcs) from bf2 to 2142

I don't, I was speculating.

it doesnt really mention "veterans" in your message, it just says loyal bf2 community.

It does in the email. The paragraph I posted is titled:

There are lots of people who don't play BF2 for stats .

Are EA that desperate that they need to give people incentives to buy there upcoming game?

theyre not desperate...personally bf2142 looks awesome and the graphics still remain pretty decent even after more than a year. cant tehy be generous for once?

umm, they havent abandoned BF2, there making more patches....and i dont think that is "abandoning" the game
but ya they still have alot to fix for BF2
